Policy watch: transparency rules keep getting sharper

Regulators want clearer disclosure when AI systems interact with the public. What that means for product teams.

Transparency requirements are no longer a vague “nice to have.” Product teams shipping assistants, agents, or generative features should assume users (and auditors) will ask:

  • Was this content machine-generated or human-edited?
  • What model or system produced it?
  • Where can someone contest an automated decision?

At AI Tamer we treat the AI / Human badge as editorial hygiene, not decoration. The same habit helps product UX: label machine output early, keep an audit trail, and do not bury disclosures in footers.
