YouTube’s Made on YouTube 2026 expands Ask Studio with draft feedback, Insights/Research, and dynamic thumbnails, and packs Gemini into a conversational editing partner for Shorts and Create. Early-2027 Shorts/Create availability is TechCrunch-attributed.
Four API model IDs shut down 2026-09-28 — gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct, babbage-002, davinci-002, and gpt-3.5-turbo-1106 — each with recommended replacement gpt-5.6-terra. Separate from the Sept 24 Sora Videos API kill and the Oct 23 legacy wave.
